The War Memorial of Korea, which was built on the site of Army Headquarters, is the largest memorial building in the world. Indoor exhibition halls display about 13,600 materials on war and weapons from Three Kingdoms Period to contemporary periods.

Outdoor exhibition areas display largesize weapons produced by countries of the world, a replica of Gwanggaeto Stele, and “Statues of Brothers.” On the right and left sides of the memorial, names of soldiers who died in the Korean and Vietnam wars are engraved.

At Seoul Central Masjid, ceremonies of worship are held five times a day. The masjid also provides diverse information and facilities for Muslims. Books and videotapes on Islam as well as free language course in Arabic are available to help better understanding of Islamic culture.
